Nigerian Super Eagles say "Nothing is shaking them"!

There seems to be an air of determination around the Super Eagles as they prepare to face Ethiopia on Sunday, October 13 in the first leg of the final round of the Africa zone of qualifiers for the 2014 Fifa World Cup to be held in Brazil.

The players have resolved to give their all to ensure a smooth passage to Brazil 2014 and categorically stated that Ethiopia will not put paid to those World Cup aspirations. CSKA Moscow of Russia winger Ahmed Musa is one of the players who have lent his voice to this charge, and expressed his desire to come out of Addis Ababa with a decent results on Sunday. "We are all motivated and looking forward to the match on Sunday. It's a very important fixture and we have that at the back of our minds," he told supersport.com "It won't be easy, Ethiopia are no push overs either ,but we are hoping for a win at the end of ninety minutes. We need to get a decent result over there, so that we can finish it off when we meet in Calabar for the second leg. "I'll indulge Nigerians to support us with their prayers so that we can come out victorious on Sunday," the pacy winger added. Goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim also toyed the same battle lines as Musa and he concurred that the Super Eagles will leave nothing to chance as they prepare to face Ethiopia on Sunday.

The former youth international, who also captains the home based Chan team, says the team spirit and bonding that they have over the past few months is a big plus that will work in Nigeria's favor.

"Being African champions have given us some kind of boost and determination to do more than we have done.

"The mentality has changed now. We have a champions mentality,and you can see it oozing from the players.
"Our confidence is high, but we'll not under-rate Ethiopia, we can only do that to our peril." Agbim revealed to supersport.com.

The Super Eagles are holding a four day camp in Abuja preparatory to leaving for Ethiopia on Friday for the all important clash with Ethiopia on Sunday in Addis Ababa.

Nigeria will be hoping for a decent result in Addis Ababa on Sunday to put them in a good stead to make their fifth appearance at the apex football competition in the World.
